About Me

Personal Journey

Growing up art was always a part of my life. My family is made up of artistic people with limitless talents. However, with that talent comes high expectations and an understanding of the trials involved in being an artist. For too long, stories from others had me doubting ones ability to be a successful artist.

"Found in a Closet" is what happen when my friends found out I had talent. I was scared and lacked the confidence, but they pushed and brought me out of the dark. Through social media sharing, my post gained attention enough to rekindle my fire. Trying conventions, it was clear there is potential for my works to be desired by others.

Artistic Evolution

From getting in trouble in kindergarten for mixing colors to make purple to high school senior ceramic independent studies. Art was a crucial piece of my childhood.

As a teen, 90s anime, Sailor Moon & Tenchi Muyo! had me sketching characters. My first D&D experiences in the 2000s awoke a greater interest in fantasy subjects. These are crucial building blocks that inspire my artistic pursuits.

As a young adult, faces were never my strong suit. It would be a long time before I researched and practiced enough to share anything with others. It was through painting tutorials and community classes that I found a love for watercolor portraits. The easy flowing medium allowed for the lighter use of details, while still producing a quality product.
